“My summer has been very productive and it is because we are winning right now. Last year was a subpar season, but right now I feel like I am playing good and trying to lead our team in as many wins as possible so I am very content with my play.”
For AAU he is playing with DC Premier where his team is currently 6-2, “It has been a great experience. We are very family orientated and we just do everything together and that has helped us on the Under Armour Association circuit where we are 6-2 and we hope to win UAA in July.”
One thing that has been noticeable from Ceaser this summer during Capitol Hoops Summer League is his focus and poise he has for the game and he briefly discussed that, ““I am very locked in and just always trying to do what I have to do on the court to win.”
Another extremely eye popping thing that has stood out is the growth Devin’s body has gone through.
“I have been sleeping a lot and I have been doing a lot of pushups. My bounce has improved a lot and I have to credit my dad for that for making me do a lot of squats.”
He does however want to keep on getting stronger among other things he is trying to work on.
“Get stronger, get taller and continue to work on my jumper so I can knock some more shots down instead of finishing around the rim because when we get into conference play this year there are 7 foot and 6’8 guys so I have to be versatile.”
On the recruiting side of things, one of the local schools, Howard, is showing him a lot of love and he is enjoying their pitch.
“They got a whole new coaching staff and they were all division one point guards so they are selling it really good right now.”
