His program relies on the core values of trust, family, adversity and accountability, and he has created a system that allows him to recruit and develop mid to high major talents. Over the last 7 years they have produced over 21 D1 players. This year once again his rosters are loaded with D1 talent here are some of the standouts.
Nick Blake 2020 Middlebrooks Academy (Ca) – The sharpshooting guard from Las Vegas, is lethal in catch and shoot situations. Blake also has the size and athleticism to get into the lane and finish at the rim. More of a scorer than a shooter, Blake will be finishing his prep career up at Middlebrooks Academy in Los Angeles this year. The 6’5 wing has narrowed his college choices down to K-State and UNLV. Currently Blake is averaging 16ppg and 5rpg this year for the Knicks on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit.
Anthony Hunter 2020 Durango (NV) – The Cat quick Hunter has established himself as one of the premiere defensive guards in the Nation. Offensively he is a breakdown specialist, who puts maximum pressure on the defense and has the ability to get into the lane, and deliver on time and on target passes. He has several D1 offers already including Southern Mississippi, Cal State Bakersfield, Long Beach State, Tulane and Cal State Northridge. Currently he is averaging 15ppg and 5rpg for the Knicks on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit.
Keshon Gilbert 2021 Durango (NV) – Gilbert is a 5”8 Jitterbug who navigates the lane like a local through Saturday night Strip traffic. Great ballhandler who can be both flashy and fundamental. Gilbert gets consistent paint touches with the dribble and can finish over and under bigs.
Anthony Swift, 2021 Desert Pines (NV) Swift is a 6’6 wing who is on the radar of several mid to high majors. His wingspan and quick first jump, make him an elite rim protector at the prep level, as he alters or blocks several shots a game. The highly competitive Swift plays with a passion that is palpable whenever he is on the floor. Currently his offensive package consist of catching and finishing right now, however he does show flashes of the ability to put the ball on the floor and create a shot for himself. Swift is an intriguing prospect who is currently ranked #6 in PrepHoops Nevada class of 2021 rankings.
