Continue ReadingThe WIBCA Northwest Recruitment Showcase is this Saturday and Sunday (June 29-30) at Bellevue College. This event is the first of its kind with no direct club affiliations and high school coaches in charge of nominating players for the invite-only event. Around 100 college coaches are expected to be in attendance to scout some of the top players from the 8 different states, although the majority will be from Washington. Here is a preview of the most highly touted players that are rostered and expected to be playing in the event:
2021 6’9 SF Ben Gregg (Clackamas HS) – Nationally ranked in the top 30 for the rising junior class.
2021 6’8 PF Jackson Grant (Olympia HS) – Top 75 recruit nationally and one of the biggest stock risers on the west coast this Spring.
2021 6’9 PF/C Kaden Perry (Battle Ground HS) – The recent Gonzaga commit is expected to bring his energy and athleticism to the showcase.
2021 6’2 PG Nolan Hickman (Eastside Catholic HS) – The state’s most heavily recruited point guard will be running the show for Team Brad Jackson this weekend.
2020 6’11 C Dishon Jackson (Saint Patrick Saint Vincent HS) – One of the top 150 recruits in the country is coming up from California to showcase his talents. Dishon holds offers from Cal and Arizona. *Feature image
2020 6’8 PF Kendall Munson (Rainier Beach HS) – Top 110 player nationally with multiple Division 1 offers. Kendall will have the opportunity to go up against another player with legitimate size every game in this event.
2021 6’7 SF Anthony Swift (Desert Pines HS) – One of the top wing prospects in Las Vegas will be looking to add to his impressive offer list, which includes UNLV, Frenso State, Southern Utah and UTEP.
