PG Dominick Harris (Rancho Christian, CA – 2020)
It was another outstanding showing for the Gonzaga commit after he shined on Friday night. This 6’4” combo guard has an excellent feel at the point for how to change gears and pick his spots to score. Worked well in the pick and roll finding his high school teammate Mobley for an assist. As a scorer he is a plus three point shooter that drilled deep triples. Creative slashing with the ball in his hands. The Zags got a game changer!
PF Evan Mobley (Rancho Christian, CA – 2020)
It is no surprise to see the nation’s #1 recruit here again. The California point-power forward had me thinking during his Saturday night game that is the best big man recruit in a long time. I can’t remember a post since maybe Anthony Davis that had as diverse of a game as Mobley. It starts with his elite passing. Mobley handles it like a guard and dishes like a veteran floor general. Feathery jumper that he knocked down from the top of the key. Right handed hook shot is money. High level rebounded who had a couple tip dunks. Major shot blocking presence!
PG Zion Harmon (Marshall County, KY – 2021)
Best I have ever seen this point guard play. He has bounced around travel teams and high schools, but he still remains a coveted high-major recruit. Quick and shifty lead guard that has the ball on a string. Blew past his defender on a couple occasions, but it was really his shooting from beyond the arc which stood out. Nailed an array of pull up threes shooting them particularly well behind ball screens. Also threw a few bullet passes on the money!
SF Mwani Wilkinson (Bishop Gorman, NV – 2020)
First evaluation of this forward and he jumped off the floor with his athleticism and high activity level. Wilkinson is a natural scorer who hit threes and got to the cup for explosive finishes. Also crashed the glass for second chance opportunities. Seemed to always have a nose for being around the basketball!
SG Moses Moody (Montverde, FL – 2020)
It wasn’t a dominant game, but the birthday boy had another good outing in California. Love his size for position and how he makes plays with the ball in his hands. Much more than just a shooter. Got to the hoop off screens for reverse layups and other acrobatic finishes. Crashed the glass. Underrated passer and well of course as usual the pull up was on point especially from mid-range.
C Mady Sissoko (Wasatch, UT – 2020)
Talk about an elite rebounder at the high school level! That is exactly what Sissoko is. The Utah native has a college ready body right now. Snatches rebounds with force. He was particularly effective on the offensive glass throughout the game just over powering his opponents. Sissoko is a ferocious dunker including jamming three in a row!
SF Kyree Walker (Hillcrest Prep, AZ – 2020)
Walker is a strong and powerful scoring wing that can get buckets in bunches. Did that again on Saturday night. Three pointer was falling including netting one to send the game into double overtime. Creates separation to get his shot off. One area that impressed the most was his passing. Threw bullet passes all night for dimes and had the pass of the camp off the back board to the opposite side for a Josh Christopher jam.
SG Hassan Diarra (Putnam Science, CT – 2020)
It is easy to see why the high-major programs are starting to offer this guard. Man is he an electric scorer! Got buckets from all three levels with crisp ball handling and a clean jumper. Finished with acrobatics at the rim.
C Moussa Cisse (Christ the King, NY – 2021)
Cisse is a five star prospect that has an insane wingspan! High level rim protector with timing and anticipation. Offensively he had a couple dunks and even hit a three. One of the highest ceiling big men in the 2021 class.
F Paolo Banchero (O’Dea, WA – 2021)
Banchero hit the clutch three to send the last game of the night to overtime after his team came back from a 20 point deficit. It wasn’t a dominant game for the top 10 prospect, but you have to like what he brings to the table from an overall skill standpoint at his size. Strong combo forward who can stretch the floor, finish with either hand at the cup, and is actually a high level passer.
SG Josh Christopher (Mayfair, CA – 2020)
One of the most complete two guards in the country. Connected on an array of deep twos and threes for jumpers. Silky smooth shot from the perimeter. Also had the most explosive moment of the night on a dunk off the backboard on the opposite side from Kyree Walker. Crisp passer which was seen finding an open shooter from the opposite block for a three.
PG RJ Davis (Archbishop Stepinac, NY – 2020)
This rising senior point guard was outstanding on a floor filled with five-star talent. He was phenomenal in the first half with spinning layups, speed in transition, and step back threes. Fancy passer with a flair for making the nifty assist.
C Micawber Etienne (Suffield Academy, NY – 2020)
This 6’10” center opened our eyes with his play. Skilled five man who drilled short baseline jumpers like they were going out of style. Excellent mid-range game and finished well on dump off passes with slams. Efficient big man that doesn’t try to do too much.
