The Dutch were down a few players at OU Team Camp. However, they still battled showing many bright spots. They ended up winning the Crimson Bracket!
Mark Gouldsby 2021 Holland Hall Point Guard
The game started with a very impactful performance by Mark Gouldsby. Dribble dribble shot and splash was how his day began. He followed it up a couple of possessions later with a steal going coast to coast for the score. He continued to play at a high level. For Holland Hall to take the next step they need guys like Gouldsby to step up. This was a very good sign for the Dutch to see him play the way he did at OU Team Camp.
Brock Davis 2020 Holland Hall Forward
Davis is a prospect we always thought might grow to 6’7 that just never has. However, at the high school level in Class 4A Davis is the perfect big man. He moves fluidly on the court using his speed to get around bigger guys down low. Davis is a skilled rebounder and defender inside. Over the weekend Davis surprised some with some pretty impressive blocks using his hops, which have improved. The hustle he brings inside helps him to snag a ton of loose ball rebounds. Holland Hall will key upon Davis this next year to lead them back to the Class 4A State Tournament. The NCAA D2 level is going to be the perfect fit for Davis.
Kyle Hook (OUT) 2020 Hollman Hall Point Guard
Hook is still out with the injury that occurred in the Class 4A State Tournament. It sounds like he should be released for full action in July, which is great news. Hook is a guy small colleges will want to have in their radars. At the Point, he has a good handle of the rock, makes great IQ decisions, can score it, and do a number of other positive things. Hook will be a vital player for Holland Hall next year.
