The top players from each class, 2020, 2021, and 2022 class, have been participating and competing this week at a high level. The last three days have been solid and the final matchups will begin and end tomorrow on Saturday June 15th.
Over the last three days, Georgia prospects Xavier commit 2020 PG Dwon Odom of St. Francis and 2020 SG Brandon Boston Jr. of Norcross High School have been pointed out as one of the stand out prospects here at the University of Virginia.
Both have played extremely well for their squads and showing they belong here. Odom has been terrific and doing what he does best on the floor. The 6-foot-2 point guard has been super aggressive driving to the basket and has been unstoppable in the open floor. Odom is a downhill player when he holds possession of the ball. He is known more as a scorer at his position but has proven he can create for others by dishing out a few assists.
Top ranked junior Brandon Boston Jr. has not been shooting it very well here in Charlottesville, something we are used to noticing about the 6-foot-7 wing, but has found other ways to be an impact player for his squad. Brandon has been making his way to the basket more and more and showing he has a slight handle at his position. He is a lengthy 6-foot-7 two-guard with long arms and legs that helps him get to the rim with ease. He has ran the floor well and is passing the ball fairly well also.
