TNT Elite 2022 PG Shawn Donovan: We really liked the way he led his team throughout the matchups we got to see, he brings the floor general mindset that we like to see and did a nice job of facilitating as well as getting his own offense. Talking with his coach post game, he informed us that Shawn is constantly getting better and the team as a whole is not very experienced but are making great strides.
Fayetteville Spurs Senior Guard Tre Bell: Still a player that is available for college programs to come in and grab, he knows how to score the ball well and is just scratching the surface of how good he can be. The height at 6’3-6’4, longer wingspan and athletic ability are all things that college coaches should like, will be a perfect candidate for a JC spot.
2022 Guard Cam Oates: We spoke about him last week as one to keep an eye on and he wasted no time in making his case even more relevant with an impressive performance over the weekend. Normally with Team Loaded, he suited up this weekend for a local squad and showed that he can get a bunch of buckets in a small amount of time.
2-6 Blackout 2022 Guard Malachi Travis: With the departure of several players from his high school team, he will be one that will be looked upon to step up and play more of a role. He can shoot the deep ball pretty well and is near the 6 foot range, he has long arms and a frame that looks like he will grow some more before it’s all said and done.
2023 Wing Carson Neely:Physical type of player that doesn’t necessarily have the height, but can play inside the paint at times due to how strong he is. We saw him mix it up inside the paint as well as step out and knock down some shots from the perimeter, continued time perfecting his game will only make him better in the future.
2023 Wing Johnathan Aponte: Not the most athletic or fastest player that you will see, he understands how to use angles and his body to finish plays. There was countless time throughout the day where he seemed to embrace contact when he was attacking the paint to finish some buckets.
2023 PG Treshawn Wright: The full time PG duties fell on his shoulders as the other PG for the squad was unable to participate for the remainder of the tournament after their first game. He doesn’t have much size but what he does have is a ton of speed and heart, he was constantly pushing the tempo and making some nice passes to teammates.
