The reputation of Wood has been strong for two years now.
JaCobi started the last two seasons for a AAA Powerhouse program in Cleveland Tennessee. Now he will be a potential Mr. Basketball winner playing for a team with expectations of returning to the state tournament.

Morrell Schramm won All-Star Game MVP at the PrepHoopsTN Summer Combine.
He is a member of PSB-Chattanooga AAU.
Zion Swader (Siegel/EAB 16u) walked home as Western Kentucky Elite Camp MVP and fresh D1 interest from the Hilltopper staff.
His AAU teammate Grant Slatten pulled in his first D1 offer last week, after embarrassing young men at Tennessee Tech’s Team Camp.
Darwin Randolph and Grant Hurst won PrepHoopsTN Summer Combine Co-MVP’s.
Formerly signed to Maryville College, Marcus Smith of Oak Ridge decided to reclass down to 2020 and attend Believe Prep.
“Coach Placeres is a good coach, but I just felt going prep was just the best decision for me,” shared Marcus Smith. “Getting bigger, stronger and better for the next level is what I needed.”
