The state of Georgia has put together a very well balanced schedule for this year’s June evaluation period. The June evaluation period for the state of Georgia will be June 21st through June 23rd, for the high school team camp that is.
Games will be hosted in the surrounding metro Atlanta area in Cobb County, Georgia. High schools set to host this weekend’s competition include powerhouse Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia, and Marietta High School and Middle School in Marietta, Georgia.
Over 50 high school programs will be participating in the first ever NCAA Georgia event. Wheeler, McEachern, Meadowcreek, Tri-Cities, Grayson, Norcross, Marietta, Pace Academy, Kell, South Cobb, Pebblebrook, Sandy Creek, Westlake, Holy Innocents, and others are expected to compete.
Games are set to begin Friday afternoon at 6pm local time and end on Sunday at around 5pm local time. College coaches should be in for a treat this weekend as a plethora of high level talent will be put on display and even a few sleeper prospects. Multiple college coaches, scouts, and national media outlets are expected to make their way to Atlanta, Georgia this weekend for the event.
