Salpointe Catholic
I am very interested to see the new look Salpointe Catholic squad without Majok Deng. Deng has been the face of their program for the last 4 years. I am really curious to see how Evan Nelson plays without his dynamic duo. I expect Nelson to see a large increase in shot attempts and points per game. Welcome to the Evan Nelson show ladies and gentleman.
Chaparral
Really curious to see what Chaparral looks like with the exit of their seniors and the departure of Alem Huseinovic. Alem recently announced that he would be committing to the University of Nevada, Reno. He also announced that he will be playing for the Bosnian National Team this summer and will be transferring to PHH Prep (more info to come on PHH Prep soon).
Apollo
Apollo is one of the most consistent programs in the state under Coach Marin. Emmanuel Taban is now graduated and the reins have been handed over to Paris Woods. Very interested to see how Paris developed and thrives under his new role.
Perry
Dylan Anderson is one of the highest ranked 2022 players in the nation, do I need to say more? He is absolutely worth the price of admission and you should check him out any opportunity you get.
AZ Compass Prep
I’m not sure if AZ Compass Prep is playing their top tier squad or not. If it is their top team, they are absolutely loaded. Frankie Collins and Devontes Cobbs make up a dynamic duo in the backcourt while Maxwell Lewis and Sadraque Nganga lead the way for the forwards. Some top tier players on display for this squad.
