The intensity of Thompson instantly sticks out when you watch him play. If there is any kind of play to be made on the floor you can count on Thompson doing everything in his power to make it happen. Vocally, Thompson proves to be a leader on the floor doing his best to put his teammates in the best position possible to make a positive impact on the game.
The shooting talents of Thompson are off the charts catch and shoot or off the dribble. When he found his shot early it was a long day for the opposing team. The quick hands of Thompson on defense led to several steals. The fiery competitive spirit Thompson has is probably what I love about watching him play the most. If there is a guy on the court bigger or stronger than him Thompson does not back down from guarding him. Thompson is a high volume shooter, which can lead to some bad shot selection at times. I thought for the most part he did a solid job of taking shots in good open situations.
The hustle, three-point shooting, and never back down mentality of Thompson will make him a productive college basketball player.
