Wright is a 5’10” point guard in the class of 2020. He attends Belleville High School and plays grassroots basketball with the Michigan Warriors. Wright is a rising prospect that colleges will want to become famiar with. His game is developing quickly and he’s primed for a solid senior high school season. Wright can handle the ball through pressure and can find teammates in scoring positions. He can play effectively at any pace, wether pushing the ball in transition or running a a half court set. We caught up with Wright to talk about his game, his recruitment, and more.
Question:
What is the biggest strength in your game?
Lorenzo Wright:
My biggest strength is scoring, and my pull up jumper.
Question:
You recently received an offer from Olivet. How does it feel??
Lorenzo Wright:
Receiving the offer feels great but I have to keep my mind right and keep working.
Question:
Is there any added pressure knowing that colleges are watching?
Lorenzo Wright:
Not at all, just getting better and pushing to get more.
Question:
What has been your best moment in basketball so far?
Lorenzo Wright:
Being a part of an amazing group of teammates at Belleville.

Lorenzo Wright:
B.Artis White.

What are your goals for this summer?
Lorenzo Wright:
My goals are to get better and things will come!

Lorenzo Wright:
Damian Lillard.

What is your favorite class in school? Why?
Lorenzo Wright:
My favorite class is history because I like to learn about major events that happened before my time.
