Davonte Durst | PG | San Antonio Fire | 2023
Durst is a guard that can run the point or play off the ball because of his ability to shoot it. The San Antonio product had a good weekend scoring the ball at the Jr. NBA South Regionals.
Orlando Horton Jr. | PG | Houston Hoops Blue Chips | 2023
Horton is the kid that runs the show for the talented Houston Hoops Blue Chips. He is a player that you cannot afford to play nonchalant defense on because he is capable of hitting jumpers off the bounce at a high rate.
Drealyn Moseley | SF | Drive Nation | 2023
I wasn’t familiar with who Drealyn Moseley was before this event, but after this weekend I am fully aware of who the gifted athlete out of Garland Texas is. Moseley can rebound the ball well and can push the ball himself and finish at the basket. He had some eye-popping plays this past weekend above the rim that not many players his age can do.
Wesley Yates | PG | Houston Hoops Blue Chips | 2023
Yates has a powerful frame and knows how to use his handles to get to his spots on the floor. Yates displayed the ability to knock down jump shots when left open.
Payton Chism | PG | Drive Nation | 2023
Payton Chism may not be the strongest or fastest kid, but what he lacks in those traits, he makes up for it with his understanding of how to use his pace and create scoring chances for his teammates. Chism also showed that he is more than just a facilitator, who can also score with pull up jumpers and nifty finishes near the cup.
