We recently caught up with Carrier to talk about his game, his recruitment, and more.
Question:
Whats the biggest strength of your game?
Jeffery Carrier:
My biggest strengths are my rebounding, defense, passing, and shooting from outside.
Question:
You recently received an offer from Aquinas. How does it feel?
Jeffery Carrier:
If feels great to be able to get an offer from Aquinas.
Question:
What do you like most about Aquinas?
Jeffery Carrier:
I like that it is kind of close to home and they really put emphasis on academics for your future.
Question:
How do you deal with the pressure of being actively recruited?
Jeffery Carrier:
I don’t think there’s a lot of pressure being recruited. You just hope that you play good for coaches so they like you as a player on and off the court.
Question:
What are you looking for in a school and team at the next level?
Jeffery Carrier:
I’m looking for a school that’s going to help me with my academics and athletics accomplishments that I want to do for my future.
Question:
What was the biggest key in becoming the great basketball player you are today?
Jeffery Carrier:
The biggest key is just getting in the gym and working on the stuff I’m not very good at and also working on the stuff I’m good at to make it better.
Question:
What professional player does your game remind you of?
Jeffery Carrier:
I think my game idolizes Porzingis or Dirk because they are able to shoot outside and able to post up at the same time.
Question:
What part of college basketball are you the most excited about?
Jeffery Carrier:
The most exciting thing about playing college basketball is being able to play at the next level.
