Ty Ty Washington 6’3 2021 G Cesar Chavez
Ty Ty Washington looked very strong at the ASU Team Camp. He played so well, that he now has received an offer from ASU. Big congratulations to him and his family. It is about time that ASU has taken notice of him. Washington can shoot it with the best of them. He always looked very poised and is a scoring machine.
Frankie Collins 6’2 2021 G AZ Compass Prep
If you need a pure point guard, call him up. Collins makes some of the best passes I have ever seen. He is always two steps ahead of the defense and looks like he’s playing in slow motion. His ability to read the floor is insane. He can also go ahead and get his own buckets at the basket and can shoot it well.
Justus Jackson 6’0 2021 G Millennium
Thought Jackson played strong this weekend. He has somehow gotten more athletic. He already had a 40+ inch vertical and he seems like he is getting up even more so now. Jackson is becoming smarter as a point guard as he grows in age and playing experience. He is still using that Justus Jackson 100 miles an hour play but is a lot more controlled with it, picking and choosing his spots.
Dominic Gonzalez 6’3 2020 G Ironwood
Gonzalez had a really good scoring display. He’s a very crafty scorer, who can score the ball at all 3 levels. He can shoot it from down town with ease. His mid-range jumper is well above average. I really like his ability to score at the basket. He is very good at using his body and long arms to create an opportunity for himself to score.
Devontes Cobbs 6’3 2022 G AZ Compass Prep
Cobbs impressed the heck out of me. He has been traveling a lot this summer and playing on the Nike Circuit, so I haven’t been able to see him play since the State Tournament. He looks so much more improved and locked in. His defense is top notch and is orchestrates his team’s defensive rotations like a conductor. He also has ridiculous bounce and put on a show for everyone in the crowd with his electrifying dunks.
