Just running through the list of attendees, some of the top players in the state will be present. There are also highly notable 2020 players that are not in attendance. Those players include: Jamel King, Shannon Grant, Sedrick Pettway, Hayden Lamey, and Sam Youngblood.
There have been complaints that elite level kids were left off the list, and many coaches did not agree with the selection process of the Elite 100. Apparently, coaches had to nominate players for the event. If the event is sanctioned as a AHSAA event, shouldn’t the AHSAA have people in position to recognize the top talents in the state?
