The 2022 Class is looking better and better each time we come around. Today, we are looking at probably the deepest part of the class, the small forwards. Led by Kamari Lands (LaLumiere) and D’Ante Davis, you have two guys who are looking to breakout nationally. These two have the kind of star power that is going to draw in a lot of high-major programs.
But the depth is where things kick up a notch. Will Lovings-Watts (Jeffersonville), Andrew Leeper (Homestead), and Lawrence Pierce (University) all look like standouts for DI programs as well. That gives you at least 5 players who early on, look like talented players at the top of the class.
We have added 9 players this time around to this group with Lands and Davis entering the fray here at the top. But guys like Joe Reidy (Woodlan), Richard Brooks (Penn), and Nick Mikash (Kankakee Valley) look quite interesting. All different than your normal wing player but skill that will play up well.
Overall, this looks like the position that is going to drive this class on a national level but with 25 players already in this grouping, we seem to have more than enough talent for each level showing quality depth. This is also the position that is likely to have the most movement moving forward so we could see some additions and subtractions over the coming years.
