The 2022 Power Forward group is a really, really good one. Jalen Washington stands out at the top all by himself right now as he is one of the best players in the country. The bounce 6’7 forward has a lot of upside and the skill is starting to play up.
He is joined by 8 new prospects this time. The best one is Peter Moe, a 6’7 forward from Cathedral (IN). Rangy and skilled, he’s best when he’s looking to drive and for a power forward, that is a good skill to have. Caedmon Bontrager (Lakewood Park), Jackson Dawson (Warsaw), and Jonathan Ricketts (North Posey) are the next group of guys we have added.
Antonio Lisenbee Jr. is one of the guys that actually improved a ton and looks great so far and has made the jump up from #4 to #2 in the position rankings. Matt Spears made the biggest jump from #15 to #7. His body has grown and he looks much more like a guy that can impact the game at a high level.
Overall, this group looks pretty strong already with 19 guys in the position for 2022. With Washington and Lisenbee at the top, you have potential high level talents sitting in our Top 10 in the class. A few others have the chance to move up but regardless, the depth is there.
