This spring with Pro One, Peebles showed the ability to do it all and impact the outcome of games. At team camps, he demands a lot of attention from opposing defenses. As this kid continues to develop, more schools will come calling.
Strengths
Crafty with the ball. Can score at all 3 levels. Improved his ability to score off the bounce. Can finish around the rim in different ways. Very good shooting mechanics. Deceptive athleticism. Good playmaking ability. Can play both on and off the ball. Excellent in transition. Has improved his on ball defense. Plays passing lanes well. Rebounds well from perimeter. Very competitive. High IQ.
Weaknesses
Won’t blow you away with his athleticism. Needs to develop more moves off the bounce. Bigger guards bother him physically at times. Lapses of lazy off ball defense. Can improve on ball defense. Gets caught jumping for rebounds at times.
Overview
Brody Peebles has transformed from an elite shooter to one of the best scorers in the state. The AHSAA Elite 100 will give him an opportunity to compete with the other elite perimeter players in the state. He has the ability and skill set to play both on/off the ball, and Peebles can only get better. This kid projects as a MM level prospect.
