With the emergence of some players in the class of 2021, we have seen an explosion from this class as of late and a lot of that has come from the power forward group. You have the obvious names at the top like Caleb Furst and D.J. Hughes but others have really helped to define the group. Trey Kaufman is the main component to that. He’s really stepped up and become of the top players in the state overall.
But he isn’t the only one. The play of Kyle Ross, Kooper Jacobi, and Brady Hunt have really created depth among the upper tiers. Kooper has been picking up offers left and right lately.
Where this really takes off here is down the list. This group is just so deep and for colleges at all levels, this will be their money makers because they can get higher end talent that will be starter level from the jump. From our #4 to #25, we have guys that still haven’t really settled even close to the player they will probably be in college which should make for some interesting movement over the next two years.
Overall, this looks like the place where college coaches are going to really take off and find that significant depth and starter level talent that should jump start their programs.
