Ola Ajiboye (Von Steuben)
Previous Ranking: #39
Current Ranking: #21
Ajiboye first jumped on our radar with his play during the high school season for Von Steuben flashing potential on both ends of the floor. He has taken it to another level in the spring with Team RWA. Long and rangy power forward that is one of the best shot blockers in the class protecting the rim consistently. Very active and fluid on that end with his weak side shot blocking along with the way he defends in ball screens. Offensively he has touch, feel, and footwork on the block. Can hit a mid-range jumper.
Grant Johnson (Naperville North)
Previous Ranking: #113
Current Ranking: #29
Johnson has started to remind us of recent Naperville North product Tom Welch with his development from the high school season to the spring. Face up four that consistently knocks down threes with a feathery touch. Plays with toughness and grit on the interior rebounding well and can score with his back to the basket.
Shaun Riley (O’Fallon)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #39
Riley burst on the scene at the O’Fallon Shootout and continued that momentum with the Southwest Jets. High level athlete with his relentless motor around the cup. That along with quick moves from the mid-post in are his strengths. Plays well in the open floor as a finisher and can defend multiple positions.
Taijon Barry (Eisenhower)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #59
Barry is a 6’5” athletic power forward out of Eisenhower High School who emerged with Young & Reckless this spring. Super bouncy four man that has a nice frame to continue to add strength. Quick to the glass and can take it to his man from the mid-post.
Ben Eberlin (Calhoun)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #68
At 6’8 with broad shoulders and a frame where he should be able to add strength going forward Eberlin is a sleeper from southern Illinois. At his size he has a silky smooth jumper that can stretch out to three. Skilled offensive weapon. Defensively he rebounds well in his area.
