Continue ReadingIn August we will extend out the 2020 rankings to over 100 players (80 currently) and probably end up when they graduate with 150 or so, just like the 2019 class that had 155 ranked.
As AAU shuts down and we head into the HS month of June ball, lets look at which SG’s have been playing well and will most likely be in the next big group of rankings. We will put them in tiers for now.
These are not official rankings as many things will still be sorted out.
Tier-1:
1. Kyree Walker 6’5 (Hillcrest Prep) One of the top guards on the West Coast proved it at Pangos last weekend. Physicality is unmatched and is a great passer.
2. Addison Patterson 6’7 (Bella Vista Prep) Big time scorer with great size has all the tools to play beyond college. Great size and skill.
3. MarJon Beauchamp 6’6 (Bella Vista Prep) Another with great size and length who has what you want in a long term prospect. Moved in from Washington this week.
Tier-2
4. Xavier Dusell 6’4 (AZ Compass Prep) Big time deep shooter and shot maker.
5. Alem Huseinovic 6’3 (PHH Prep) Another top-tier shooter who can make plays.
6. Kiimani Holt 6’4 (PHH Prep) Downhill scorer second only to Kyree Walker.
Tier-3
7. Dominic Gonzalez 6’3 (Ironwood) Rising shooter with great length. Had a great April/May and already shining in June.
8. Jake Murphy 6’4 (PHH Prep) Carter Murphy little bro is finding his own groove as a shooter and all-around player.
9. Isaiah Floyd 6’3 (Eduprize) Not many more athletic and great getting downhill.
10. Camrone Cherry 6’3 (AZ Compass Prep) May have the deepest range in the entire state. Lefty moved in from Georgia.
Tier-4
11. Jordan Gainey 6’3 (Salpointe Catholic) Long and lean shooter has nice upside.
12. Jamar Brown 6’2 (Hamilton) Good shooter and sneaky athletic.
13. Anthony Irvin 6’3 (CDS) Another deep range shooter with a super quick release.
14. Isaac Monroe 5’11 (Peoria) Can play a little on the ball but best off the catch and good from mid the the 3.
15. Jordan Flowers 5’10 (Eduprize) Quick deep 3pt shooter.
Tier-5
16. Jackson Risi 6’1 (Valley Christian) Another big time shooter who has sneaky bounce. He may have made the most 3’s of anyone in the class in the Spring.
17. Hayden Moser 6’4 (Catalina Foothills) Good sized guard who can shoot it and handle it.
18. Armani Williams 6’1 (McClintock) Second strongest guard behind Walker gets downhill. (Out until Fall)
19. Tyson Legner 6’2 (Rancho Solano Prep) Another strong shooter should have breakout year.

1. Malcolm Daniels 6’2 (Centennial) Perimeter scorer with good quicks.
2. Michael Batchelor 6’2 (Millennium) Cerebral shooter had some big games in the playoffs.
3. Kyree Ware 5’11 (South Mountain) Strong Defensive-minded guard can shoot.
4. Jordan Moody 6’0 (SCA) Top-tier shooter off the catch.
5. CJ Noder 5’10 (Basha) Top-tier shooter off the catch.
6. Brandon Taylor 6’3 (Sunrise Mountain) Shooter with good size.
7. Ryan Berry 6’4 (Notre Dame Prep) Shooter with good size.
8. Devin Ash 6’0 (Mesquite) Top-tier shooter off the catch.
9. Zach Foster 5’10 (Millennium) Top-tier shooter off the catch.
10. Sam Mobisson 6’1 (Seton Catholic) Top-tier shooter off the catch.
