As AAU shuts down and we head into the HS month of June ball, lets look at which PG’s have been playing well and will most likely be in the next big group of rankings. We will put them in tiers for now.
These are not official rankings as many things will still be sorted out.
Tier-1:
1. Dalen Terry 6’6 (Hillcrest Prep) Elite feel/top passer, size, length, improved J and pure leader.
2. Evan Nelson 6’2 (Salpointe Catholic) Quicks, speed, defense, nasty pull-up and good passer.
3. Jalin Anderson 6’3 (Bella Vista Prep) Great size/strength, tough on-ball D, deep 3, pull-up and good passer.
Tier-2:
4. Trent Hudgens 6’0 (Moon Valley) Top-tier on ball defender, deep 3 and fast/quick.
5. Dayton Harris 6’2 (Skyline) Pure PG (arguably top passer behind Terry), good size and offense improves monthly.
Tier-3:
6. Yunisa Turay 5’10 (Eduprize) Speed on speed. Scores it any way and makes plays.
7. Nashon Harper 6’0 (La Joya) Elite on ball defender and good play-maker.
Tier-4:
8. Jordan Wollangk 5’10 (Mesquite) Top-5 passer in class and tough.
9. Deven Dhlake 6’3 (St. Mary’s) Bigger lead guard who can shoot it.
10. Khalid Whitaker 5’10 (Flowing Wells) Quick scoring lead guard. Good on D.
11. Deven Franks 5’10 (Casteel) Fast scoring lead guard.
12. Keyshon Upchurch 5’8 (Seton) Defensive nightmare on the ball. Downhill scorer.
13. Jo Jo Rincon 5’8 (Centennial) Quick scoring lead guard.
14. Matthew Fan 5’11 (SCA) Cerebral facilitator and shooter.
15. Matthew Jensen 5’11 (Mountain Ridge) Tough competitor and scorer.
