2021 6’11 Marko Milivojevic | Canda Elite
Another 16u standout was the Canadian, Milivojevic. Marko’s size really stood out as he was able to do many things a coach would want out of a 6’11 post man. He was dunking the ball with authority and blocking numerous shots on defense. Marko still needs to gain some more muscle but he is someone that already brings good intensity on the floor and another guy from Canada that will play college ball in the United States.
2021 6’4 Jaden House | District WAWG
A name to remember in the state of Virginia from the 2021 class to remember will certainly be House. House showed signs of being able to score in a variety of ways including going coast to coast, mid range pull up jumpers and finishes around the rim. He plays hard and has a strong motor that you do not see a lot of sophomores play with.
2021 6’5 Ludwig Brito | WE R1
Standing at 6’5, Brito was doing things on Saturday that you usually see taller guys do. He had a beautiful sky hook over a taller defender that was impressive, an explosive offensive tip in, some offensive tip out’s that kept possessions alive and rose up for a block on a taller defender. Brito was one of the most versatile prospects I saw in the 16U age group this past weekend.
2019 6’9 Hason Ward | NE6
Talk about a sleeper in the 2019 class, Ward is a primary candidate. The tall post man plays hard as he competes and bring value to both sides of the ball. In my viewing he hit a three, finished around the rim and caught an impressive alley oop. His coaching staff also let him play with the ball in his hands for a little bit on the perimeter where he was able to handle it nicely. He can block shots which will definitely translate to the next level. Whoever lands Ward in the coming weeks will get a nice addition to their 2019 class.
2021 6’3 Kameron Jones | Team Thad
Jones was by far one of my favorite players I evaluated this past weekend while in New Jersey. Jones has to be regarded as one of the top shooters in the 2021 class as he torched the nets with a 42 point performance Saturday night. He was pulling up from in between the three point and half court line like it was nothing. He was on a mission all night to score the basketball and he did not disappoint. Do not be surprised when you start hearing about this kid on a more national stage in the coming months.
