Marcus Smart YGC36 Goes Undefeated
Adidas Gauntlet games are not the easiest to win, but Marcus Smart YGC36 showed that when you play together as a team and execute on both ends of the floor good results will happen for your squad. The Texas-based Adidas team went 4-0 this weekend, beating Team Harden (AZ), Cali Rebels, Dream Vision Next, and Indiana Elite. YGC36 Players: Harrison Ingram, Andrew Laczkowski, Julian Larry, Austin Lewis, Latrell Jossell, Marcus Ervin and Nathan Dominick all had games where they performed well in front of multiple college coaches.
Journee Phillips Is A Dog
Effort is something that you can’t teach, but something that you choose to give. Journee Phillips of Yes II Success understands that concept and plays every game like he is out to prove something. Phillips is a two-way player that possesses strong athleticism and good body control around the basket. He has a good frame and solid lateral quickness which allows him to stay in front of his man on the defensive end. Phillips consistent play this past weekend earned his first Division I scholarship from Incarnate Word. If he continues to play this way he’ll probably pick up a couple of more offers before the summer season ends.
Compton Magic Has The Talent To Win Another Adidas Championship
On Friday night I decided to check out the Compton Magic from California to see if the hype was real and boy they are who I thought they were! Against the Cali Rebels, the Magic played at a level that couldn’t be matched because of all of the combined talent and athleticism that they possessed. Compton Magic has multiple division one prospects, led by the big three, Jaylon Clark, Dalen Terry and the number one player in the nation Evan Mobley. The Cali-based team has the talent to repeat for another Adidas championship in July.
