It is also worth noting that this team is 4-0 in EYBL division play. This teams has a lot of perimeter talent and depth. What makes this teams so special is how unselfish the team is. Every player is a willing passer and is focused on doing their job to win. This team lacks depth in the post, but they have competitive players that are willing to play out of position. The Fusion are averaging 84 points per game and 19 assists per game. Check out the roster breakdown below.
Alabama Fusion 17U Roster
Mark Sears- 6’0 point guard who is very crafty with the ball. Has good vision and is a willing passer. Rebounds very well for his size. He is the team’s engine. MM level schools have been in contact with Sears after breaking out during the first EYBL session. Averaging 15 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and almost 2 steals per game in EYBL play.
Colby Jones- 6’5 shooting guard. 3 level scorer. Has really improved his playmaking and decision making. Very good perimeter rebounder. Has really emerged as the team’s leader. His play has earned him SEC, ACC, and Big East offers. Averaging 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists per game. Jones is also impacting games defensively with over 1 steal and 1 block per game.
Jadan Coleman- 6’4 shooting guard. This kid is known for his 3 point shooting ability and being very unselfish. Coleman has picked up several in state offers, but has also received attention from VCU. Averaging 8 points and 2 rebounds during EYBL play. He had a breakout game against AOT Running Rebels during the first session where he knocked down 6 threes.
JD Davison- Arguably the state’s best 2021 prospect. 6’2-6’3 combo guard who is super athletic. He is playing up a level, and competing very well. Davison makes plays on both ends for the Fusion. This kid already has an offer from Memphis and has been on the radar of Alabama and Auburn. Averaging 5 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and almost 2 steals per game in EYBL play.
KJ Jackson- Has only appeared in 3 EYBL games. Jackson is a 5’11-6’0 point guard. Very good on ball defender. KJ is an improving offensive player, but his bread and butter is his defensive ability.
Reginald Perry Jr- Perry is a 6’8 250 grown man. His a physical player and eats up space in the lane. Very soft hands and battles hard on the glass. Worth noting he has received MM-HM level attention for football. Averaging 6 points and 5 rebounds per game in EYBL play.
Austin Harvell- Harvell is a 6’6 athletic SF. Very good perimeter defender. He is an active rebounder and very capable offensively. Harvell is extremely unselfish. He has received attention from SEC programs including Alabama and Auburn. Averaging 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in EYBL play.
Tommy Murr- Murr is known for being the nation’s most prolific prep scorer. The 6’1-6’2 combo guard has shown that he belongs on the EYBL Circuit. Efficient 3 level scorer. High IQ. Unselfish and willing playmaker. Plays well without the ball. Has received MM offers and has been in contact with Auburn. Averaging 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists, 1 steal, and is shooting 42% from 3.
Mikey McIntosh- The 6’6 forward brings tons of energy to the court. He is Fusion’s vocal leader. This kid finds a way to get involved in every play on both ends of the court. McIntosh can play both the 3 and the 4. Averaging 3 points and 3 rebounds per game.
Tyler Lang- Lang is the ultimate glue guy for the Fusion. The 6’6 small forward is an underrated athlete and a very active defender. He’s a good shooter and battles well on the glass. He does whatever it takes to win. LM level prospect. Averaging 7 points and 5 rebounds.
Jamel King- King is a 6’7 long armed wing. Very athletic and has really good shooting mechanics. Impacts the game defensively with his length and athleticism. LM-MM level prospect. Averaging 9 points and 3 rebounds per game.
Zondrick Garrett- EYBL session 2 saw a new face for the Fusion. Garrett is a 6’7 skilled 4. He is a very versatile player. Very good passer and can knock down shots on the perimeter. Garrett has the skill sets to impact the game on both ends. LM-MM level prospect. Averaging 4 points, 4 rebounds, and almost 2 blocks per game.
