I was witness to a large amount of talent this morning from various 15U/16U games. Here are some players of note that I saw live at the Battle at the Lakes tourney in Burnsville, Minnesota.

Runnin' Rebels

One of the first games I witnessed this morning was with CYal Rebels out of South Dakota two players that stood out to me were Tyree Nave/Sioux Falls (SD) and Thorlingo Gilo/Sioux Falls (SD). Tyree is an elusive guard that has a better size compared to most guards he goes up against. Good shooter and has a no fear factor on going to the bucket to get free throws Gilo has quite the wingspan and is a physical player on the boards. Defense was definitely his strong suit based on what I witnessed this morning. They edged out with a one point win in OT against Mid Minnesota Attack lead by Peyton Coahran/Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (MN) who had some clutch three-pointers in the 2nd half of the game.

My second game I watched Austin Gibson/Cherokee Trails (CO) take over the second half for 5280 Hoops as they picked up a double-digit win against All Around. On the boards, from
