Indiana Elite Central 2020
Indiana Elite Central is built up of Lafayette area kids and this is a class that is pretty good. They have a couple highly sought after targets and some other guys that should benefit off of that. Some serious under-the-radar types as well. This group is pretty good and handling themselves well this year.
Player Who Stood Out: Rowen Farrell – 6’4 SG 2020 – McCutcheon (IN)
Rowen has been great this Spring, showing off more of a scoring streak and definitely more as a drive-to-create guy. He’s always been a great shooter and this Spring is now different, but that ability to take the ball and drive to either score or pass has really given him a whole other angle to his game.
Player Who Is Trending Up: Jordan Walters – 6’7 PF 2020 – Harrison (IN)
Jordan is a guy that has really taken off over the last year. He’s a big forward with some athletic ability and shooting. That combination is really intriguing for a lot of teams and he’s really not even touched his ceiling yet. Could be in line for another jump if he can produce well in July.
Player Who Is Under-The-Radar: Tyler Boyle – 6’1 PG 2020 – West Lafayette (IN)
Tyler is a guy that is definitely floating way too low right now. A guy that has grown and the frame now looks great on the ball and someone who isn’t looking to really take over with his offense but meld it in. He shoots it well but passes it better and at 6’1, should be a pretty solid defender if he puts the effort in.
One More To Know: Carson Barrett – 6’5 PF 2020 – Central Catholic (IN)
Carson is a solid wing forward that just does everything so well. He’s not the most athletic guy so trying to find a position for him is tough. If he can really showcase the shooting more in July, that would quell a lot of those questions. He’s so smart and such a good and active player, he’s going to find his place at the next level pretty well.
