Indiana Dawgz 2020
This Dawgz team runs a smaller roster but their guys have been producing well at times. Really like the development of some of their key players and when you add in their shooting potential, they could be much better as the season wears on because of it. July has still to be played out.
Player Who Stood Out: Ben Lins – 6’4 SF 2020 – Covenant Christian-DeMotte (IN)
Ben is a guy who we have seen before but needed some this Spring to really figure him all out. Slasher with some size and length. He’s a little timid at times but when he is confident you can kind of see him take off a bit and have a stronger game. Room to grow here with him.
Player Who We Discovered: Ty Schmidt – 6’3 SG 2020 – Victory Christian (IN)
Have been really impressed with what we have seen from Schmidt this Spring. Really like his shooting touch. Has great range and a quick release with some legit size on the perimeter. Should stick as a 2-guard with upside as long as the ball handling sticks.
Player Who Is Under-The-Radar: Eric Goodes – 5’9 PG 2020 – Andrean (IN)
Eric was a guy we saw a bit of during Andrean’s high school run. He’s a capable leader and good ball handler with some ability to play with some pace. Missed him a couple times but when he’s been out this Spring, have really like his offense more than during the season.
One More To Know: Dylan Radinsky – 6’2 SG 2020 – Wheeler (IN)
Dylan is a solid off-guard who will bring enough ball skill for you to play him on the point in a pinch. Really solid frame that could still grow. He was really good as a catch-and-shoot guy but was also probably the best passer on the roster this Spring.
