Grand Park Premier Red 2020
This GPP team has been really good this Spring with some surprising play from some guys so far. Jackson Goudy has turned into a player that can help a team and Alex Hunt is developing quickly. Add in Ryan Morris, Chris Chinn, Joe Martin, and Bobby Fry on top of Dillon Ware who has been outstanding, then you have a team to pay attention to.
Player Who Stood Out: Dillon Ware – 6’6 PF 2020 – Danville (IN)
Dillon is a guy that has really established his game over the last year. Not a perimeter shooter but capable of being a wing that can drive and give you ball handling and rebounding. He’s tough and can give you an identity. He’s going to end up being pretty coveted and if he can add that jumper, it will make him take off.
Player Who We Discovered: Alex Hunt – 6’4 PF 2020 – Noblesville (IN)
Alex is a guy who we saw during the high school season but are just now really paying attention. A little undersized but long and athletic with some ability to stretch the floor. Not sure he’s defined his game, at least not to me anyway so the upside still looks high. Just wanting to see more.
Player Who Is Under-The-Radar: Bobby Fry – 6’1 PG 2020 – Carmel (IN)
Bobby missed some time with a shoulder injury during the high school season but he’s been good this Spring. Big guard who can play on the ball. He’s so good slashing and getting up the floor. Missing that perimeter jumper which is holding him back a bit but he’s got quite a bit of skill and this will be his time to step up.
One More To Know: Jackson Goudy – 6’4 SF 2020 – North Central (IN)
Goudy is a guy who we are starting to see turn a corner. Big wing with some upside once he adds a little more skill. Love the frame and strength and he’s only going to get better. Needs time but he’s shown enough this Spring to make us come back in July.
