Ryan Isaacson (Chicago Lockdown 17U)
Isaacson can really stroke it from the perimeter. The 6’8” power forward stretches the floor out to beyond the arc with a soft touch on his shot.
Matthew Volkening (Illinois Wolves 15U)
Volkening we mentioned as one of the players that put his name on the map. The Marengo small forward definitely did that in a major way with the way he connected from deep.
Ahamad Bynum (Mac Irvin Fire 16U)
Bynum is a microwave volume scorer that can be a bit streaky shooting it from deep, but once he gets rolling it is on!
Brandon Weston (Mac Irvin Fire 17U)
He is a freak show athlete, but it was his shooting consistency over the weekend that impressed us most from the state’s #3 prospect in 2021.
Adam Miller (Mac Irvin Fire 17U)
Miller opened up the weekend with a statement drilling three triples within the first couple moments. That set the tone for the rest of the weekend for the five-star talent.
Sincere Parker (Mac Irvin Fire 17U)
Parker is a shooter with size and a fluid looking stroke. He had a couple games where he was on fire and was just ok from deep in a couple others. Overall we think he will be a plus shooter at the next level.
Jayson Kent (Mac Irvin Fire 17U)
Kent broke out this weekend and a major reason was the way the Oak Forest shooting guard shot it from deep. Long and lanky frame with a smooth looking shot spotting up from three.
Connor Dillon (Illinois Irish 17U)
Dillon was on point Saturday morning when we saw him drop 35 points with many of them coming from three. He continued that momentum on Sunday connecting on an array of threes in our second look at him over the weekend.
Drew Wollenschlager (Illinois Irish 17U)
Wollenschlager is a fiery competitor at the two guard spot that is at his best spotting up for threes. Was in a zone on Sunday afternoon drilling four triples in the first half.
Keshawn Williams (Young & Reckless 17U)
Williams shot it about as well as we have seen him over the weekend. His pull up game from inside the arc was falling as was his three point game. Shooting it with a lot of confidence.
Dante Maddox (Young & Reckless 17U)
Maddox drilled several deep threes in the game we saw. Loves to pull up in the transition game from super deep.
Kenton Wright (Meanstreets 16U)
Wright shot it very well over the weekend from his point guard spot. Smaller guard that opens up more avenues to operate with the way he can shoot it.
Jaylen Drane (Mac Irvin Fire 15U)
Drane is the top 2022 guard in the state. For his Fire 15U team he has to score in bunches and in the game we saw he did that with a lethal jump shot from all over the floor.
Matt Ambrose (Quad City Elite 17U)
Ambrose is among the top pure shooters in the class. Displayed that against Indy Heat knocking in four triples. Moves well without the ball to get open.
John Poulakidas (Young & Reckless 16U)
Poulakidas has size at the small forward spot and has a big time stroke from three off the catch as well as stopping and popping from mid-range.
Elijah Bull (Young & Reckless 16U)
Bull is a smaller guard that stood out with how well he connected from three for Y&R 16U.
Kameron Kraft (Meanstreets 15U)
Kraft projects as one of the best shooters in the 2021 class. Bit of a funky release, but it goes in consistently!
Jason Bergstrom (Wolverines 17U)
Bergstrom has a feathery jump shot from all over the floor which was on full display in their loss to All-Ohio Red on Sunday.
