Parker talked about his historic season at Rockford East.
“The year went good. We broke a lot of school records as a team and I broke a lot of individual records. We went down state. Unfortunately we came up in fourth there.”
There are several areas of his game that he has seen improvement.
“Definitely defense and I am still improving on my athletic ability and ball handling is starting to come together.”
Parker is now running in the EYBL with the Fire. He feels that it is helping prepare him for the next level.
“It is good because in college you are going to be playing against those same type of people. You have to prepare mentally and physically. Know that every game is going to be a war and nothing is going to come easy.”
