 Class of 2020 guard Tayven Glasgow of Lee’s Summit West is an old-school basketball player who plays the game the right way and has been very successful doing it that manner.

 A big-bodied 6’3″ point guard with a pass-first mentality, Glasgow uses his physical strength and wide array of fundamentals to get the job done. He uses that power to play through any kind of contact when going to the basket and he can also go into the post to get buckets or pass out to the open teammate.

 “Being stronger gives me an advantage in finishing and rebounding,” Glasgow said. “And I used to play in the post when I was younger.”

 As a junior, Glasgow averaged 16 points, six rebounds and three assists a game for Lee’s Summit W
