Tyler Loe is one of the most dynamic scorers in North Dakota’s 2020 class and he’s proven just how tough he can be to defend this spring playing with North Dakota Attack.
Loe’s embraced the challenge of going against bigger, stronger and faster guys all spring and it’s been paying off for him.
“That’s the funnest part of the game,” said Loe. “Playing kids as good as you or better than you. You have to play so much better. You have to play together. You see things other guys do and you try to apply it to your game too.”
A talented shooter with seemingly endless range, Loe has worked to improve his slashing and finishing ability this spring. And while he’s known for his scoring ability, he’s also shown he’s a quality two-way guy.
“I want to get stronger going to the hoop,” said Loe. “I’ve always been a shooter. I’m working on my defense a lot too. I try to guard the best player on the other team. If I know this kid is going, I want to guard him. Been working on making my teammates better and getting guys open shots.”
Loe’s garnered interest from a number of schools in the area about playing at the next level and he’s working hard to make sure he gets noticed by as many people as possible.
“I’ve talked to Jamestown a little bit,” Loe said. “I’m heading to Mayville for a prospect camp. Lake Region has a camp. UND has a camp. I’m going to try to put myself out there as much as possible.”
