This past season, the 5’10”, 155-pounder averaged 24 PPG, 7.0 APG and 2.0 SPG for Chargers (17-12).
On senior night, February 8, Rolle had his first ever triple double with 28 points, 10 assists and 10 steals in a win over John I Leonard.
He says he saw the most growth in his game with his ability to score inside the 3-point line.
“I improved on scoring at all the levels. Layups, floaters, mid-range jumpers and 3’s”, Rolle told Prep Hoops.
No offers or interest have come yet, but he’s having a breakout summer with Team Breakdown.
“Team Breakdown is going really well. They are helping me get the looks I need and improving me as a player. I’ve been with them for two years,” Rolle said. “They strive defense and playing tough, they raised that part of me to another level and it improved my game.”
In terms of his biggest strengths, Rolle pointed to his ability to guard on the defensive end and on offense, the ability to get his teammates involved with high IQ passing. He says his leadership skills are growing which includes his communication skills.
Rolle might be undersized, but he’s quick, highly intelligent and skilled as a shooter and passer. This summer is crucial for him as he continues his progress. Look for Rolle to carve out a name for himself and attract attention from some college coaches here soon.
