A 6’4, inside-out forward, Littlejohn has taken his game to the perimeter over the course of the past year showing he can handle it a little, shoot from the outside and see over the defense on the wing and make smart, on-time passes. He can still take the ball to post and score, and likes to get his teammates involved.
Littlejohn is putting together a strong spring running up with the Kansas Pray N Play 2020 team, playing up an age level.
“We are pretty good with an all around great squad, summer ball has the highest competition and playing against all the good players helps me increase my game to give more to my team in the school year,” he says. “Some areas of my game I’ve worked on is my ball handling and defense I also always am putting up shots in the gym and increasing my vertical and quickness.”
Littlejohn says his trainer has had the biggest impact on his basketball career to date.
“He’s been training me since 6 grade, he’s taught me a lot about the game of basketball and has helped me elevate my game to play at any level,”Littlejohn says. “He’s always in the gym dedicated to helping me get better and it’s impacted me to want to be the best and get better everyday.”
A fan of the 76ers standout and former Kansas big man Joel Embiid, Littlejohn says he appreciates his confidence and all-around game.
“I’ve watched him ever since he was at KU, I’ve watched a lot of his moves how he is always moving with the ball and his foot work in the post is the best and I’ve tried to pick up the spin moves and the fakes and add it to my game,” he says. “I also respect his confidence and the heart he plays with trying to win every game and the confidence he has to make the plays and shoot the shots he does.”
