Prospect Profile: Jeffery Brazziel
The talent pool in Milwaukee high school basketball has been deep for the past decade. After just one year of high school, Jeffery Brazziel has already set himself apart as one of the top prospects not only in Milwaukee, but the whole state of Wisconsin.
The Milwaukee Tech star caught up with Prep Hoops Wisconsin to talk about the AAU Circuit, his recruitment, and much more.
Averaging double-digit points per game during his freshman campaign, Brazziel has already made a strong impression on many college programs. Brazziel does not hold any offers yet, but says that he is getting interest from Butler, Marquette, UWM, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The attraction between Brazziel and college programs is already there; expect offers to start rolling in very soon.
Ranked as the third best player in the class of 2022, Brazziel possesses unique skills that separate him from his competition. “What sets me apart is being able to get to the rim at will and finish above the rim.” The Milwaukee Tech wing also said that his craftiness and his ability to make plays on the fly have allowed him to excel in his basketball career.
Jeffery Brazziel is already ahead of his peers, but that will not stop him from improving on his game. “(I need to improve) my shot and my game approach,” said Brazziel.
Currently, Brazziel is leading Wisconsin Playground Club’s 15U squad on the AAU Circuit. “My season with WPC has been great, an opportunity to play for UA with my teammates after a really good summer last year with RAS,” stated Brazziel. He continued, saying, “I have improved as a player, teammate, and I am becoming a leader.” Brazziel and his Wisconsin Playground Club teammates impressed during Battle at the Lakes, where they made it to the 15U Final Four before falling to D1 Minnesota.
After a great freshman season, Brazziel’s play on the AAU Circuit has been anything but tepid. The long and athletic wing has impressed in nearly every facet of the game. He has a solid pull up jumper and can get to the rim with ease whenever he wants.
