Chase Wagstaff stands at 6’8 and towers over all of his teammates at Hunter High School. He is not your prototypical back to the basket big he works the short corner and sets high screens to pick and pop. Chase has a nice shot. We were able to watch him play in a Spring game and he can shoot the 3-ball with some consistency.
With his current head coach moving over to be the AD at Jordan High School development with the next staff will be important. Chase has a nice shot and if he can work his inside game and movement off the ball, he could be a hidden gem in the state. Adding 10-15 pounds this off-season wouldn’t hurt either.
Chase is capable of 10/10 games next year. He is a good complement to the speedy guards that are beside him.
