Auston Chatman 6’6 SF / Shadow Creek HS-TX [D1 Houston] 2019
Had been cooking all weekend long. In the Elite 8 game he kept the fire rolling as he showcased his mid-range and deep ball game. He plays the game fluidly. Has a good dribble package to create for himself with great elevation on his pull-up. Long and athletic. He can play above the rim. Solid defender with good lateral movement. Put up 21 points and netted 4 trey balls. Would be a great fit for colleges who are still looking to add a prospect with some length.
Stephen Faramade 6’8 C / Fort Bend Bush HS-TX [Texas Mel Elite] 2020
Big that rim runs and bangs inside. Anything 15 feet and in he is an X-Factor defensively. Good hands offensively and looks to put opponents in the rim every time he gets the ball. Shot blocker with good timing and cleans up on the glass. Finished the Elite 8 game with 10 points and 12 rebounds. College coaches looking for a traditional big that will man the inside look no further.
Jacari Chambers 6’3 SG / North Crowley HS-TX [Team FOE Elite] 2020
Had a great Elite 8 game. Chambers has a strap on him, he had it cocked and loaded. He drained five deep balls. Three of which were tightly contested. Plays with a high motor. Moves well without the ball in his hands. Shown flashes of a solid on-ball defender with good lateral movement. Finished the game with 19 points on 5/8 shooting from behind the arc.
DJ Stewart 5’10 PG / Fort Bend Bush HS-TX [Houston Raptors] 2020
Pesky defender who had 5 steals in the game. He was the cause for almost a dozen turnovers. His defensive effort combined with his craftiness on the offense end, led them out of the Elite 8 and to the final 4. Heads up traditional pass first point. Shifty guard with unexpected passes on the dime. His perimeter shooting is definitely improving which will help his recruitment. Finished with 18 points and 4 assists.
