Robeson United 2023 Jacob Hammonds: Plenty of upside in this youngster as he will be one that could see some time on the floor at Lumberton HS varsity level sooner than later. Showed the ability to score the ball at a solid rate as well as rebounding, one to keep an eye on.
26 Blackout 2022 Guard Dimante Shepard: Has a nice feel for the game, as the day went on he got even better and showed the ability he has to knock down shots even in clutch moments. Showed some pretty good shot selection as well as confidence in his game, which is always something you like to see from young talent.
Robeson United 2023 Guard Ja’merl Brockington: Flat out got it done throughout the day as he was one of the leading scorers when it came to guard play. He found gaps in the offense, and used his combo of speed and strength to finish through defenders for buckets.
NC Stormcats 2022 Guard Jayquan Curry: Flat out put on a show with his ability to score the ball, it is quite impressive when a player his age can put together the type of performances he does scoring wise. Ability to read defenses as well as drawing fouls are some of the things he does well and allows him to add to his scoring totals.
Watch Us Work 2023 Forward Kendrick McLaughlin: Already has size to be a dominant force against his peers, he is a player that can enforce his will inside and out. Shoot the deep ball or banging inside the buckets, we saw a bit of it all from him and are excited about the potential he has to be special in the future.
Robeson United 2023 Guard Greyson Singletary: One of the more efficient players that we got the chance to see, he picks his spots and makes the most of each possession. Scoring, rebounding and facilitating are all things he does well and this show the IQ for the game that he has that will only get better over the next four years.
