[player_tooltip player_id="930619" first="EJ" last="Huffman"]EJ Huffman EJ Huffman 6'5" | PF Conway | 2022 State SC – Conway HS – Team Wall Southeast 2022
Huffman 6’4 was just a beast on the glass all weekend for Team wall Southeast 2022. Huffman recorded 14 rebounds and 17 rebounds in the 2 games Prep Hoops watched him play. Huffman recently joined the squad after starting the spring with Garner Road. Huffman plays very aggressive in the paint and really has a great knack for being around the ball. Prep Hoops had a chance to see Huffman play several times this season on the varsity level for the Tigers.
Heston Foster Heston Foster 6'3" | PF Flight 22 Post Grad | 2022 NC – Cathedral Academy (North Charleston) – Carolina Ballin (pictured on front)
Foster is so consistent with his shot selection. Foster won’t wow you with athleticism at all. Foster is a productive scorer in the paint and can step-out and knockdown some perimeter jumpers. Foster helped the Generals to a (23-13) and a runner-up finish in the SCISA 1A ranks. Foster averaged 17.3 ppg and 8.3 rebounds this season for the Generals.
Kylic Horton Kylic Horton 6'5" | PF Clarendon Hall | 2022 State SC – Clarendon Hall (Summerton) – Carolina Ballin
Horton 6’4 was moonlighting this weekend and playing with the Carolina Ballin squad. Horton usually plays with Team South Carolina. Horton scored 19 points in the 9th Grade State Championship Game in the victory. Horton really likes to have the ball in his hands and play on the perimeter. Horton was active all weekend long with his great length in the passing lanes.
Sam JenkinsSam Jenkins – Myrtle Beach HS – Manzer-Martin
Jenkins is a man child in the paint. Jenkins isn’t afraid to play on contact and sure likes to draw a lot of it in the process. Jenkins can step-out and hit the baseline jumper from 8-10 feet. Jenkins has broad shoulders and believe it or not he doesn’t play football. That’s a rarity for sure at Myrtle Beach HS.
[player_tooltip player_id="930610" first="Devin" last="Gillespie"]Devin Gillespie Devin Gillespie 6'3" | CG Cheraw | 2022 State SC – Cheraw HS – Team Wall Southeast 2022
Gillespie looked to attack the basket more this weekend with his length. Gillespie put that jumper in his back pocket for awhile and showed great success attacking the rim. Gillespie came up big for Team Wall Southeast 2022 this weekend to help the team to a (4-1) record.
Nizail RobinsonNizail Robinson – Mullins HS – B.H.B
Robinson wasn’t much of a scorer o nthe floor. Robinson plays with a GREAT MOTOR and really defends on the ball. Robinson is a wide receiver on the football team for the Auctioneers. Robinson plays the game extremely hard. on both ends of the floor and seems very coachable.
[player_tooltip player_id="930644" first="Tydreck" last="DeBerry"]Tydreck DeBerry Tydreck DeBerry 5'7" | PG Latta | 2022 State SC – Latta HS – B.H.B
DeBerry makes the engine go for this team. DeBerry a point guard gets the ball into the gaps and the lane all day long. DeBerry plays with such a fearless mind set and attitude. DeBerry should start to see some minutes this season for Vikings at the varsity level.
