Prospects:
• Kalen Etzler (6’8” / F 2021 / All Ohio Red 16U / Convoy Crestview): The newest Buckeye commit was impressive nonetheless when I watched him. Etzler continues to grow on the court in a combination of ways. Using his length, the sophomore deflects passes and his team is off and running on a fast break in result. A terror in the transition, Etzler can handle it like a guard. Getting to the hoop wasn’t a problem, and neither was the jumpsuit that fell consistently.
• Jalen Sullinger (5’9” / G 2021 / All-Ohio Red 16U / Thomas Worthington): Sullinger can absolutely score it, and size isn’t a problem. Out-of-the-gym range from the lefty allows him to let it fly from DEEP. Creates space off the dribble, and was able to score inside as well. Jalen is growing as a player and it’s going to be big to watch. Thomas Worthington has themselves an all-around guard forming before their eyes.
• Javohn Garcia (6’3” / G 2019 / All-Ohio Red 17U / Pickerington Central): Garcia is still one of the toughest guards I’ve seen this past year, he can do it all. The unsigned senior is one of the top remaining players in all of Ohio, still looking for the right fit. The guard can use a combo dribble to get his defender off balance, and blow by for a big finish at the hoop. Rebounded well from the guard spot, as well as defending his opponent. Getting teammates involved, Garcia is a lead guard that does it all.
• Devan Wilson (6’1” / G 2021 / UTS Elite): Wilson is a big time shot maker, that can absolutely produce. Can stroke it from behind the three-point line. A go to leader on the court as well!
• Trinidad Chambliss (6’0” / G 2021 / UTS Elite): Trinidad was a primary playmaker for UTS this weekend. Has the ability to score off the bounce. A big time shot maker when it was needed the most.
