Jordan Thompson 2020 Buddy Buckets point guard
Few shooters can match the efficiency, consistency, and volume scoring of junior standout Jordan Thompson. Thompson was electric at the event, knocking down 3s off the catch with ease, especially from the corners. He is as true a sharpshooter as they come at the high school level.
Drew Miller 2020 AAO Flight guard
Drew Miller was the go-to spot up option for championship-winning AAO Flight. Miller got hot at some point in each matchup and was virtually unstoppable in those moments. At 6-foot-6-inches, Miller is one of few players who has the potential to be un-guardable from the wings.
Conner Calavan 2020 Tulsa Hawks point guard (pictured above)
Conner Calavan proved his status as one of the top shooters in the Oklahoma 2020 class over the weekend. He had multiple games with six or more 3s and caught fire in various periods on the weekend. When Calavan gets some momentum, he’s the type of player who can bring spectators to their feet with consecutive strikes.
D’Anthony Pennington 2020 Team KC Black point guard
D’Anthony Pennington is an outstanding on-ball shooter who can create his own shot with great ball-handling moves. Various separation moves come with ease to Pennington, who could score from deep and shoot with efficiency out of the dribble.
Asa Williams 2019 Rocky Mountain Select guard
Nobody walked into the gym more “Curry range” in his backpack than unsigned senior Asa Williams. He’s a daring ball-handler who can light up defenses and drastically and dramatically stretch the floor out of the dribble. Williams is a prospect whom I would highly recommend to an NAIA or Division-II program looking for a tall, athletic shooter who can take the ball to the rack from the wing.
Davion Warden 2020 Team Griffin point guard
Davion Warden is most notably a pull-up shooter from long range and routinely made defenders regret not guarding him three-to-four feet beyond the arc. Warden is confident in his shot and strikes quickly.
