Drew Miller was the most dominating scorer of the weekend from the wing position. For championship-winning AAO Flight, Miller unstoppable as a spot-up shooter as he routinely knocked down five or more 3s per contest. Miller’s 6-foot-6-inch frame helped him to beat defenders on the catch, even with heavy contest.
Maurice Grayer 2020 Missouri Flight guard
Maurice Grayer is a tremendously talented slasher with great ball-handling skills. Grayer’s lateral quickness allowed him to get separation from opposing guards and take the ball to the rack. His attack-first mentality made him one of the most aggressive perimeter scorers I was able to watch.
Nate Goodlow 2020 Team Griffin point guard
Six-foot-1-inch Nate Goodlow is an exceptionally quick, smart on-ball player who can take the ball to the rack and finish easily with both hands. Goodlow was among the top defensive guards at the even and is an elite ball-hawk. Goodlow does well with taking the steal on transition and finishing at the rim with blow-by speed.
Nate Grover 2020 Rocky Mountain Select point guard
Rocky Mountain Select guard Nate Grover is a spot-up shooter, first and foremost. He has a lightning-quick release and can strike on the catch before you can blink. Additionally, Grover is an impressive athlete who plays above the rim as a slasher.
Marcus Huntley 2020 Victory Ministry point guard
Marcus Huntley was a head-turner as an all-around scorer from the perimeter. Huntley, a 5-foot-9 on-ball guy, could shoot out of the dribble from short-or long-range, could catch and shoot, could take the ball into the lane, and could do so with great efficiency.
Jaden Monday 2021 SSA Elite wing
At 5-foot-11, Jaden Monday’s height was not much to marvel at, but his scoring abilities were. Monday is a great ball-handler and finishes well at the rim. Monday also has a high motor and can show up in the tough moments of the game with scoring.
Tai Johnson 2020 KC Pacers point guard
Tai Johnson spent the weekend dominating opposing guards with 14 points-a-game. He is a versatile, explosive perimeter scorer who can easily elevate to the rim to generate scoring. Johnson can also shoot the ball at a high level and has a knack for knocking down deep shots.
Asa Williams 2019 Rocky Mountain Select guard
Unsigned senior Asa Williams was one of the most electrifying players of the weekend with deep shooting. His unorthodox, 6-foot-5-frame allowed him to out-length opposing defenders in the shooting game. Williams has special explosive strength and had no problem getting his shot near the rim, as well.
