Drew Miller 2020 AAO Flight guard (pictured above)
→ High motor
→ Quick shooter
→ Scoring guard
Drew Miller was arguably the most valuable player for AAO as he knocked down five 3s and scored 18 points in the second half alone. Shooting, however, is not Miller’s only skill; in fact, he was one of the most versatile players on the floor. The 6-foot-7 junior prospect rebounds, passes, and defends well and has a dominant score-first mentality.
Caleb McGill 2020 Colorado Chaos Elite combo
→ Three-level scorer
→ All-around offensive talent
→ High motor
Few players possess the all-around skill that Caleb McGill has. At 6-foot-8-inches, McGill can score and defend in the post and has a catalog of finishing moves from the paint. From the perimeter, however, McGill can hit the 3-pointer from the spot-up or can pull up from mid-range. He has been one of the best three-level scorers thus far this weekend.
CJ Thomas 2020 Colorado Chaos Elite forward
→ Rebounder
→ Defender
Like his teammate McGill, Thomas is a banger in the post who can also stretch the floor with the ball in the perimeter. Thomas is a hefty, strong 6-foot-6 inside prospect who can score, but is chiefly a dominating rebounder and defender.
Brayden Freeman 2020 AAO Flight forward
→ Rebounder
→ Defender
→ Aggressive inside scorer
Brayden Freeman finished with 14 points as the premier inside-scorer for AAO Flight. Atop his length, Freeman has practiced moves in the paint with one of the best skill-sets in the 2020 class. Freeman is an exceptional rebounder and is resilient in defending the paint.
Conner Barnett 2020 AAO Flight point guard
→ Crafty finisher
→ Floor general
One of the most impressive floor generals in the 2020 division has been Conner Barnett. A heady, trained ball-handler, Barnett had a major impact on the game as a determined rebounder, a quick-witted passer and a crafty finisher at the rim.
Taylor Harris 2020 Colorado Chaos Elite point guard
→ Slasher
→ Floor general
Taylor Harris notched 11 points for Colorado Chaos, but did so many things well aside from scoring. Harris is a phenomenal passer and does everything right from the on-ball role. He’s fast, athletic and has a high motor as he attacks the defense on each possession as a drive-and-kick guy. Harris finishes well at the rim with either hand and can create his own shot on the perimeter.
