Here are the rising senior standouts:
Nick Blake SG 6’5 190 Middlebrooks Academy (LV Knicks 17)
-Catch and shoot 3pt shooter that can create own offense. Good passer and uses length to defend in the passing lanes. Hesitates well to freeze the defense to get by. Good pull-up off dribble. Very good athlete on the break.
Boubacar Coulibaly C 6’9 200 San Gabriel Academy (Dream Vision Next)
-Big time shot blocker and high level two-handed rebounder. One of the better ones on the West Coast. Tracks the ball and uses his length, speed and athleticism to alter or block anything near him. He can rip through and score it. Plays above the rim on the break and can score it near the rim.
Keith Dinwiddie SG 6’2 180 Fairfax HS (Belmont Shore 17)
-Thick scoring guard who can score it from all 3 levels. He can get downhill with his strength and tighter handle and bully his way into the paint. He can make mid-range pull-ups off the dribble and hit from deep. He is tough on the ball defensively and can make plays for others. He isn’t a big high riser but his strength, IQ and skill get the job done.
Anthony Hunter PG 6’0 165 Durango HS (LV Knicks 17)
-True PG who can create separation with jumper. Quick on the ball defensively and very athletic. Very quick first step who makes plays off of it. Streaky deep shooter but once he finds his groove, he is tough.
Donovan Yap CG 6’4 160 Arbor View HS (Uneek Ballerz 17)
-Scoring guard with a consistent deep ball. Loves using the floater game. He is a little thin but can create his own shot with a nice handle and uses the pick and roll game to his advantage. He usually lets it fly off it but can make the correct pass. Hesitates to get the defender off balanced to blow by. Good feel for the game. He has grown a lot since his freshman year. Xavion Brown PG 6’1 180 Sheldon HS (Lakeshow Elite 17)
-Downhill player who changes speeds and directions quickly with immense length and athleticism. Elite passer with either hand and stud on-ball defender. Plays above the rim on the break. Impressive layup package with left or right hand. Can keep improving his perimeter shooting but can make an open 3.
