C.J. Noland – Shooting Guard – Nike Pro Skills 16U (EYBL) – 2021
Nobody had as big as an impression on me than Noland. On a team filled with multiple offensive options, Noland separated himself with his toughness, finishing ability, and perimeter game. The big-bodied guard looked lighter on his feet and it resulted in high-level drives to the basket. He has put together a solid spring thus far and his efforts have not gone unnoticed. Austin Peay offered Noland after having a few impressive showings during the April Live Period.
Ed’Xavior Rhodes – Power Forward – Nike Pro Skills 16U (EYBL) – 2021
Rhodes is a raw big man with long arms that oozes with upside. When his motor is running, his productivity increases tremendously on the defensive end. He possesses the necessary amount of lateral quickness to be a solid switch defender and his length can be very annoying to opposing teams. Offensively, the southpaw is capable of stepping out and connecting on a jumper from 20 feet. He still has ways to go, but he has a chance to become a sought after prospect. Along with Noland, Rhodes holds an offer from Austin Peay.
Duncan Powell – Power Forward – Nike Drive Nation 16U (EYBL) – 2021
I have previously critiqued Powell on him being infatuated with the outside jumper. However, he seemed to be in rhythm and was connecting on a lot of his attempts throughout the weekend. In his first weekend playing with Drive Nation, Powell’s effort on the glass and skill on the perimeter stood out in each of his performances. He stretched the defense at times and made some nice finds in different settings. Powell’s consistency and I.Q. for the game are his big question marks and will always be magnified by coaches who are interested in his services. Ole Miss and SMU are the three-star forward’s early suitors.
