3-Eric Davis Jr., 6’0, 2020, Wichita East, Kansas MTXE 17U (pictured)
Davis Jr. has a great rhythm to his game. He has good handles and works his way around defenders with his quickness and skill. He can shoot well from the mid-range and sometimes from behind the line. He is great with the ball in his hands and the team plays their best with him in center court.
5-Kelvin Curry, 6’3, 2020, Highland Park, Kansas Hoggs 17U
Another athletic guard for the Hoggs who can handle the ball and score in the paint. He also good size and is a strong slasher and wing defender. He can also play some on the block and hit corner jumpers 10 feet from the goal. Curry also had some impressive offensive rebounds.
10-Landon Ream, 6’1, 2020, Metro Academy, Grandstand Elite
A glue guy for Grandstand Elite who does whatever is needed. He runs hard and plays with a team first attitude. He rebounds on defense and passes well and blocks shots. He shoots a nice jumper a few feet from the basket and can slash inside and score or get to the foul line.
12-Kelvin Saulsberry, 5’10, 2020, West, Wichita Padres
A quick, shaky guard who runs the floor and puts his head down and swarms the inside. He can finish through contact and is great at getting to the line. He plays hard and looks the part of a point. He distributes well and looks to the inside.
32-Jacob Schmidtberger, 6’3, 2020, Lawrence Free State, SSA Elite 17U White
A calm player who runs the floor and scores high percentage shots. He can play physical, but usually looks to beat opponents with his basketball intelligence. He works hard and can shoot in traffic and get to the free throw line. A strong defender as well. He can defend several positions.
