Long and rangy forward with projectability and room to grow strength wise as well as vertically. His ability as a face up player is what truly separates him as he drills mid-range jumpers and threes with ease. Runs the floor well. Snatches rebounds and protects the rim. Lot of upside here!
Ajiboye discussed his sophomore season at Von Steuben.
“I feel like as young players we didn’t connect together and have chemistry. I feel like next year we are going to be way better together. Coach Williams is working on it.”
He talked with PHI about the growth in his game since he broke out last fall at Pangos Camp.
“I feel like since Pangos camp I got on the map and I continue to look to improve. I have improved my shot and getting to the basket. Little bit of finishing and rebounding.”
What should college coaches know about his game?
“My shot blocking. I am always there being a presence in the lane. When colleges see me they are going to see a long 6’5” forward ready to hoop. Plays with energy.”
Ajiboye currently checks in at #39 overall in the 2021 class.
