Shawn Warrior- 2020- 6’4 Campus HS
Shawn Warrior had one of the best weekends at the Midwest Grind Session. Warrior stands all of 6’4 and a body of a mid-major wing player, checking off on every category you would want in a high level player. As a leader Warrior shows energy and enthusiasm for his team. With his ability to score the ball from behind the arch, mid range or attacking the rim makes him a triple threat offensively. With the ability to guard 1-5, makes for an all around elite ball player. Mark him down as a kid you must see!
Max Alexander- 2021- 6’0 Buhler HS
Alexander is a star on the rise who plays up on 17u for Pray N Play. One of the youngest players on the team, sure plays like an upper class-man. Not afraid of a challenge and plays with a lot of confidence, which makes his game stand out. Watching him handle the rock is what elevates his game, it allows him to blow by defenders to get paint touches. Playing up, Alexander has mastered high floaters, tear drops, runners, and a pull-up mid range with a quick release. What about behind the arch? Don’t sit back on the kid, his shot is just as dangerous as his handles. Get used to the name, he’s going to be around for awhile.
Tanner Mans- 2020- 6’5 Bishop Carrol HS
At 6’5 Tanner Mans grabs your attention and as you watch him, you see more of his ability to be a star on the rise. Long and athletic, moves well with out the ball, knows how to read the defense and reacts to ball screen defenses to make them pay. What is impressive about Mans offensive game, is how patient he is on offense. Players at this level force the offense, Mans understanding of the game helps him know where to cut or attack in the motion. Able to play 2-5, adds mismatch problems for other teams. A kid who knows how to use the pick and pop to his advantage. He can put the ball on the floor to blow by slower defenders to get to the rim. With his size and his IQ of the game, his stock will rise this summer.
Blake Danitschek-2021- 6’5 Kapaun HS
A player talented enough to play up and against some of the best players in the country. Blake Danitschek should be playing with 16U’s, with his size and athleticism, he has no problem holding his own. A kid who defensively is a spark for Pray N Play and can guard any position on the floor. Rebounds the ball with two hands and clears out space with his size and strength, dominates the glass on both ends. Being a good re-bounder has helped him and his teammates out offensively. Danitschek has a confident shot, with the ability to shoot behind the arch or mid-range. Using his off shoulder to create space on his way to the rim is a trait he’s mastered, skies the limit for this young man.
